Spanish Sangria

Ingredients

3 cups (750ml) bottle of red wine

3 cups (750ml) of soda

1/2 cup (100ml) brandy or cognac

2 peaches

1 apple

1 pear

1 lemon

1 orange

4 tablespoons of sugar

1 cinnamon stick

Directions

  1. To make this traditional Spanish sangria recipe grab a large bowl and add the wine, brandy, and sugar. Stir very well with a spoon, until the sugar dissolves completely in the mixture.
  2. Next, add the lemon and orange, both cut into wedges. Then it is time to add the pear, the apple, and the peach, all three cut into cubes. Finally, add the cinnamon stick. 
  3. Stir all the ingredients again so that the flavors of the sangria mix well. Remember that this is a fruity sangria recipe, so try to use all the fruits listed.
  4. Add the soda and stir everything again, for a few seconds. Then, place the jug in the fridge, and let it macerate for at least 4 hours so that all the flavors of the liquors and the fruit mix well.
